Richard Donohue
Richard Donohue is an Executive Managing Director of Arvo Real Estate Advisors New York. He previously was co- head of the Lee & Associates Seniors Housing and Healthcare Group. Over the course of his 35-year commercial real estate career, Mr. Donohue has represented a wide variety of corporate and healthcare and seniors housing clients. Prior to joining Lee NYC, Mr. Donohue was a managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and co-head of its National Seniors Housing Group, which he co- founded in 2008. At JLL, he was responsible for delivering the full range of capital markets, consulting, and brokerage services within the seniors housing continuum. Before joining JLL, Mr. Donohue was an executive director at Cushman & Wakefield, where he ranked consistently among Cushman & Wakefield’s top 50 brokers nationally (out of 1,100). He was engaged as a tenant representative on a national basis by Eastman Kodak, Westinghouse, NCR, Pitney Bowes, and as a landlord representative, negotiating a 350,000-square-foot transaction for the world headquarters of Price Waterhous Coopers and Charles Schwab for its disposition of 400,000 square feet. He has served as a leasing agent for institutional and individual owners for buildings totaling over five million square feet. While at Cushman & Wakefield, he headed its world headquarters office in New York and had responsibility for the full spectrum of its service offerings, and 100 sales professionals, with revenues comprising over $140 million annually. Mr. Donohue holds the Bachelor of Arts from City College of New York and pursued graduate studies at New York University, where he is a member of its New York University Real Estate Roundtable. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York and New Jersey and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
